Guidance on Organizing Projects: Folders vs Subfolders vs Fields
Hi folks! Looking for guidance/resources on organization and taxonomy: Folder vs Project vs Fields. What are the benefits or reasons to create new projects within a folder versus say, subfolders? On my project we now have a portfolio of products. I was contemplating creating hierarchy as follows:
Folder: Portfolio name
Sub-folder: Product 1
Project 1: Discovery
Project 2: Testing/Validation
Project 3: Other research initatives
Sub-folder: Product 2
Project 1: Discovery
Project 2: Testing/Validation
For context, these products have been in Dovetail for years, and so already have their own disparate folders and projects within them. Any thoughts on how to best wrangle this prior data?
