Issues with Dovetail 3.0: Adding Templates & Editing Box Sizes

After Dovetail 3.0, I can´t seem to be able to add a template to an existing note, and I have to copy the template note that is placed in the project template by default every time I add a new note. Is there any way to add the template on top of the note after it is created? Also, we used to use colored boxes to structure note data, but now I cannot edit the size of the box without adding text that fits the size I want. Does anyone have a fix to this?
