Concerns About Global Tags in New Dovetail Pricing Plans

Hi, I have a question regarding the new pricing plans. We were on a legacy plan and are now forced to switch to a different plan because the legacy plan is discontinued. Do I understand it correctly that on the professional plan we’re no longer able to use tags across several projects like we are today? So every tag is only visible within one specific project? If so, is there a way to keep using global tags it somehow? This is a crucial feature for us and loosing it would significantly change the way we can use Dovetail.

    Hey Lisa Martini! Thanks for reaching out. That’s correct, workspace tags and fields are only available on the Enterprise plan, so if you’re switching to the Professional plan, you won’t have access to them any longer. Once you switch over, your existing workspace tags will still be there, but in a read-only state, so you can’t create new ones, or link them to new projects. If you’d like to edit the tags or use them on new projects, you’ll need to unlink it and convert them into project level tag boards.

    Same here. I don't understand why this is not part of a professional plan. We were happily using global tags and fields across projects. How are we supposed to organise data over multiple projects if we're too small for an enterprise plan? Why no option to have this as add-ons?
