Clarification Needed: Data Filter Functionality in Global Tags

Hi! What does the filter “Data” sort by for instance when browsing through a specific global tag? I assumed I would be able to filter the title of notes/“data” but it doesn’t seem to be the case. Am I misinterpreting what the filter is for, or might it be a bug that nothing comes up?
