Extracting Themes and Quotes from Survey Data in Dovetail

Hi, I want to tap into your knowledge. We have uploaded survey data as a csv file. For open ended questions, we want to extract themes and quotes. We tried using the chat but the data isn’t totally right. Is there a way to do this so we can use the highlights, tags and themes functionality in Dovetail, as per qual data analysis? Consider we have about 100 responses, is it too much?

Hi Carmen 👋 Thanks for reaching out about this! To find the themes in your survey responses, you can utilize AI insights. Once a survey is uploaded, an AI insight is automatically generated but you can create your own and add more specific summaries etc. You can also highlight and tag the responses and use this for analysis. We also have an academy lesson in our help center here that goes into a bit more detail.
