Issues with Changing Transcription Assignments in Transcript Tool

Hiya! I'm trying to change parts of the transcript to assign them to a different person as the automatic transcription hasn't correctly identified them. Before today I could click on the name, and select the other person, and it would change. Now if I try and do this it will say that it will merge the participants. That's not what I want, I just want to change that specific line, is this not possible anymore? UPDATE: I found the issue. I was trying to assign a quote that from 'Elvedin' (the participant) to me (the user). Since 'Elvedin' was just a name and not a 'person' it was producing this message and asking me to merge both participants. Once I changed 'Elvedin' to a 'person' then I could do what I wanted. This wasn't clear
