How to Find the Download Button for Video Clips in Insights
I would like to download a video clip for a specific insight that I tagged but I can’t find the download button. Isn’t it supposed to be on the bottom right corner as per this screenshot?
Hi Gordana Stok You can download video clips within a note under the "Highlights Only" view or from a reel in an insight. Are you accessing the clip within a highlight?
Thank you ! I was trying within an insights report but I hadn’t created a reel. So I will try the two ways you suggested

Top of the morning to ya! A quick update. I tried downloading a video reel. When I first did that, I didn’t see a response from Dovetail. So I did it again two more times. Only after the third time did I see the message at the bottom of my window that my reel was downloading and that I would get notified when it was ready. When I came back to look at it again this morning, it was “stuck” in the download mode. So, I have no clue what is happening right now. But I will try again tomorrow. Also, I looked into setting more granular permissions in terms of which users can view which folders and project, etc. I got a message saying that this was an enterprise feature and to contact sales.
Hi Gordana Stok Yes, there can be a delay between triggering the download and getting notified that the file is ready. I’m trying out a new tool the refers content based on your question. These past threads might help.
