Improving Transcript Editing Performance and Accuracy

I'm finding that transcript editing is very slow. Often the words are attributed to the wrong person and it takes a few seconds for the tooltip to work that allows me to switch speaker name. Any advice on how to fix the performance issue? (I'd also love the transcription to be not so error prone)

I have also shared feedback a few months ago re: identifying who said what. Dovetail then asked me to supply them with an original transcript + audio file + my edit/corrected transcript – so hopefully things are improving behind the scenes 🙏

Same! I contacted Dovetail about this last year or early in 2024 and sent a few examples and was told they worked on it, but haven’t seen an improvement honestly. Still happening where text is mis-attributed to speakers.

I did notice that the tooltip for changing speaker attribution seems to be slower than it used to be recently though
