How to Create a Canvass for Viewing Tags Across Projects

is there a way to make a canvass to view tags across projects? I have used a tag “x” in different research cycles and would like to go back and review all the interviews across projects that have an “x” tag, but not sure how to do that

I see that I can create a global tag board, but it looks like I can just create global tags that I then go back and apply. I can ‘link’ a project to the global tag board, but I’m not sure what that is actually doing. It doesn’t seem to be allowing me to then view that project’s tags in the global view. Is there not a way to pull tags into one view from several projects??
