Tips for Building Effective Research Processes as a Digital Product Designer

Hi dear Dovetail Community, I am currently building up research processes from scratch at our company, pfuu, what a challenge! I am a Digital Product Designer, so not exclusively a researcher, who needs to also cover this (huuge) realm. Do you have any tips for me, how I should approach this in a lean way? Important things to keep in mind, strategies? Grateful for all the help.

I've not read this book, but Rosenfeld Media has some great resources. This is quite the challenge, but don't feel like you have to get it perfect from the jump! We've been iterating on our process for a decade. https://rosenfeldmedia.com/books/lean-user-research/ My biggest learnings over the years are document everything, continue to revisit research objectives, find a way to turn 'failures' into successes, tell/show the participants stories, and make sure to get consent! Your passion is contagious. Good luck!
