Issue with Links Opening in Same Window Instead of New Window

Hiya, I'm pretty sure that I could click on a URL from a field and it would open in a new tab. Now it wants to open it in the same window (which I don't want as I don't want to leave dovetail). Now I have to right click to open it in a new window. Can you check if this was recently intentionally changed?
