Troubleshooting Canvas View: Missing Board Toggle Issue

frequently when I'm in the canvas view, this sub-section where I can toggle between different boards, etc, completely disappears. I can't figure out what's triggering it (in case it's me, or just a bug). Any advice?

thank you! is there a keyboard shortcut for it? as I'm definitely not clicking that, yet it happens somewhat frequently

I think it's a bug because sometimes I'll click into overview and back and it reappears
