Introducing Michelle: Chief Documentation Specialist in Fintech

Hello everyone! My name is Michelle. I am the Chief Documentation Specialist/Officer, for a small US based fintech firm. I collaborate with senior leadership and department heads on the creation, maintenance, and improvement of comprehensive internal documentation for a corporate wiki. This role advocates for the documentation of policies and procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, based on best practices of records and digital asset management. I use Dovetail for primary research. I conducted the first ever knowledge, information, and records management audit, and needed a tool that could import the Google based questionnaire and summarize the results. Although I have worked in academic libraries and archives for decades, it was my first time doing qualitative research and tagging fields. So I am eager to learn how others adapted to this tool, with a similar beginner experience. I hope to create additional surveys on an ongoing basis (possibly quarterly).
