Hi there, I'm trying to set up a new channel with slack integration (we already have different versions of this up and running) and I'm being told the slack integration isn't enabled?

It even shows here in our list of approved integrations in slack

I think you need to get permission from whoever is the admin of your Slack workspace (PEI) to enable it?

I thought this but we already have it enabled? As I said it's running on other channels as we speak, is it the case that I need to get sign off every time we add a new channel?

My best guess is it’s handled by your PEI admin and Dovetail can’t help. But that’s just based on my own experiences, I could be wrong.

Thanks Pam, I'm leaning towards the same - just wondering if anything might have changed recently since I'm sure this hasn't been the case in the past!

Hi Dan, Thanks for reaching out.👋 It looks like there is a high level of restriction, so most likely approval for each instance. Pam is correct, your Slack admin will have to look into or change the permissions.
