Fixing Speaker Visibility in Dovetail Transcripts for Managers

I have a user in the dovetail system that is a manager but when I (admin) tag the transcripts with the speaker, the user cannot see the person and shows as "hidden". How can I set it up where others can see the speaker tag in the transcripts

Hi There, Thanks for reaching out. 👋 We've recently changed access controls for Contacts. Access is now assigned to individual users rather than roles. Please review your Contacts permissions to ensure your contact data remains appropriately shared and secure. https://dovetail.com/help/changelog/access-controls-to-contacts-database/

that was perfect!! thank you! I also noticed that when using "ask" and asking for attribution and it called out moderator. how do I assign this in the transcripts?

You are trying to add a speaker to your transcript? You can assign an existing contact, create a new contact or add a placeholder name to a single speaker across an entire transcript. For example, when updating the name of Participant 1, this will be applied to every section this speaker has been identified as within the transcript. ** To add a name to a participant, click on a Participant (Participant 1, Participant 2 etc.) ** From there, enter and select the name of an existing contact, create a new contact, or add a placeholder name for the speaker in the transcript. The question was more around the moderator of the study
