Troubleshooting View Access Issues in Dovetail for New Users

Hi! I'm trying to share view access to a project with a team member who doesn't have a Dovetail account yet - every time I try, I see this error message - any advice?

Hi Brienne, Can you try sending them an invite normally, via **Settings Users> **? Let me know if you see that same error.

Hey Cameron it looks like maybe I don't have permission to invite users?

I've been able to invite people in the past so I'm wondering if my permissions changed

That is possible. It could be set to Admins only. To check, you'd need to reach out to an admin to confirm the security settings. Navigate to **Settings Security Settings > Who can invite new users> **

I figured it out - our Dovetail instance was recently integrated w/ an external access management tool hence why it's failing to send invites via Dovetail directly 🙂 ty for your help!
