How to Copy Auto-Generated Graphs in Dovetail Insights

Hello! I imported some survey results as a CSV and when looking at the insight I was delighted to see it's transformed some of the numerical based results into groovy interactive graphs! 📈 This is a great feature! My question is... is it possible to copy these auto-generated graphs from this insight into another insight? Everything that's been auto generated by Dovetail seems to be quite locked down to this insight and I'm not able to edit it. This also includes the summaries that have been generated from the open responses. Does anyone have experience with using this feature? Thank you!

I partly found a hack with the text, I'm able to copy the auto-generated summary text then paste it as plain paragraph text and edit it.

Not found a workaround for the graphs though, so have just re-purposed that as my new insight, and will retire my other insight!

hello Hannah Lewis! Lovely to hear you're getting value from this feature! If you are adding it to another insight in the same project, you will be able to manually access all your graphs through the slash command menu. If you hit slash, and then search for 'answers', you will have a list of all the generated charts that you can either add individually, or all of them at once. This will only work inside the same project though, does this match your need?
