Issues with Backspace Key in Autogenerated Transcripts

I'm correcting mistakes in the autogenerated transcript, and when I use backspace it often jumps to the beginning of the word I'm trying to correct. It is slightly maddening. Here's an example of using the backspace key 2 times:

To help us with troubleshooting, can you confirm what browser and device you are using and ensure both are updated to the latest version? Could you also let me know if this persists in a separate browser or if other members on your team are experiencing this behavior as well?

Firefox 140.0.4 on a MacBook M1. There are two people who have given it a 💯 so it seems like it is not just me (Sara R. and Pam D.).

I personally cannot replicate it in Safari or Chrome, but it happens consistently in Firefox

Hi Lisa, Thanks for clarifying! I was only able to replicate this within Firefox, and only if the words are highlighted (meaning if you've clicked into that part of the video). If the word is not highlighted, it won't happen. I flagged this as an improvement request to our product team. In the meantime, Google Chrome is the preferred browser when using Dovetail.

Thank you Jazmin. Is "improvement request" Dovetail language for a bug? Because it definitely didn't have this issue before...
