Allowing View-Only Access to Contact Database: Is It Possible?

Separate question, is it possible to allow view only access to the contact database? With the recent changes to speaker-assigning removing friction to make new contacts, I want to lock that down so folks not trained to add to the database don't accidentally make junk entries

Hi Emi! 👋 At this point in time, Admins can update permissions in Security settings to control who can access and use the Contacts database. For example, restricting it to Managers and Contributors means that Viewers will see a “Person hidden” experience. We also recognise that some teams need a way to reference contacts without full access to individual metadata. We’re actively exploring how a “view only” experience could better meet the needs of users like yourself who want visibility without the ability to create or edit contacts. Thanks, this ask is now more urgent given the recent changes. I anticipate problems managing my workspace now.

Update: It's happening, the junk contacts are arriving. Pls help 🙂 (number strings are appropriate entry, and first names are bad entry)
