very misleading “updates” email notification (not sure if 🐛 or intentional): as one of the workspace admins, i receive these “updates” emails, which i’ve interpreted as “teammates have done something in the workspace” — which is also how it’s phrased, see screenshot.
so far, this is incorrect: the team members didn’t create any highlights, and there’s no new highlights in the project.
i now assume what “team members created x highlights” actually means is “Dovetail AI has suggested x highlights” (which it has), but this is very misleading phrasing, when those AI-suggested highlights were never accepted, and, again, the mentioned team members never engaged with these AI-suggested highlights.
is there a reason for this phrasing?
impact: i initially took the email at face-value and assumed the teammates had auto-accepted all the AI-suggested highlights after i had instructed them not to do so, which created a very confusing follow-up conversation with them! it’s not a huge issue, we have a positive workplace culture here 😄 but it leads to unnecessary confusion.
