Inquiring About Updated Workspace Analytics for Better Decision-Making

Curious where/if updated workspace analytics are on the roadmap? I feel like my company has done a good job so far of adopting Dovetail, but I don't really have a good way of showing that to leadership. I can show the number of insights published and interviews conducted, and individual insight viewership, but being candid they don't care too much about those metrics. Their focus is more on the outcome of doing research, specifically whether people are reading and using our research to make better decisions. I think updated workspace analytics could help in a lot of ways, but dropping two use cases that have been top of mind lately:

  • Using them as KPIs for our research teams

  • Using them to make a business case to expand our usage and add things like Ask Dovetail or more licenses to the mix.

Similar to ashley, I am looking for user analytics on how engaged people in my company are within Dovetail. How many times have they logged in? What did they view? How recent was that content? Maybe I am missing something as a relatively new user, but I am unable to find this data and would love to know if it currently exists, how I get to it and if it doesn't when will it be available? Thanks!

Agree, and following this thread. I could only find these stats. Personally, I've been tracking the growth of colleages/users in Dovetail month on month. But in reality, it doesn't mean much since the fluctuation of people might just be due to people joining/leaving the business and not actually engaging in the content. Suggested metrics to track + display to admins:

    • unique views on each insight

    • no. of shares (at a highlight level)
