Feature Request: Disable Others' Tags for Better Analysis in Dovetail

Feature requests: turning off others tags. This would allow Dovetail to support a host of other qualitative analysis methods and quality checks (e.g., inter-rater reliability isn't possible if researchers can see others' tags)

How to Transfer Tags to a New Tag Board

Probably a dumb question, but I created a new tag board. How do I get the tags from my data into this board?

OK. Is there a way to submit that feedback? Others' highlights are super distracting and biasing, and it interferes with a lot of qualitative methods (e.g., inter-rater reliability, member checking, etc.)

ok. I wasn't sure if there was a dedicated help team, or if it was just purely a community forum. thanks for clarifying.

Concerns About Lack of Staff Monitoring in Channel

I don't mean to be confrontational, but does any staff monitor this channel? I'm seeing 9 unanswered messages this week alone, some with multiple users impacted. Only 1 thread seems to have received a staff response.

Of course. On that note — no idea what your research question is, but might be worth trying to stratify your sample by denomination. Perspectives can vary dramatically across those lines.

Depending on where you are, that demographic isn't niche at all — the Gospel Music Association found 68% of Americans reported listening to Christian music in the last month, and 16% listened weekly — which aligns with Statista's finding that 16% of Americans reported listening to religious music or shows on the radio. It's one of the fastest growing genres in the states and globally. so if you just survey the US population, on average more than 1 of every 6 person will meet this criteria. You could further refine with a weighted sampling that targets states with more Christian populations, like South Eastern or Midwestern states (so long as geographic bias isn't a huge concern). If your research is global or in another country, you could look for similar demographic data about religiosity by nation / state, province, etc. if you're thinking about paying for a research panel, you could consider reaching out to some religious radio stations and seeing about partnering directly with them, e.g. getting your survey on a mailer. as for your second criteria — theoretically, donating to nonprofits should be fairly common since churches (in the US) are considered nonprofits and run off donations.
