sounds interesting! When I try it I get asked to log into Alloy, which I did with Google, I then just got a blank 'no captures' page. I've tried a couple of times...what am I doing wrong?

Sounds good. I really recommend some templates that can be used either printed or online e.g. in Miro: -Strategyzer value proposition canvas to brainstorm customer problems and features that map to them -Futurice Lean service creation canvas has many posters in the download and you can pick and choose the relevant ones to brainstorm business goals, competitors, customer profiles etc etc

processing and transcribing actually took 2 mins for a 30 min video!

upload is like 1 min for an hour video (I'm on full fibre). Processing I haven't timed but it feels somewhere between 5-10 mins

yes, it's infuriating! I can't access my tag boards to tag things as they're covered up by the chat (there's another tag board in the screenshot but I can't see what it's called or hover over it) I could see this living in search in the main menu for projects like a filter to either search globally or ask within this project only (would be very useful as I often have to wait for search results to load before it allows me to filter by project or folder). For individual notes or insights it could live in the right column.

I'm also struggling with this as we speak! Seems there is no way to chart the responses or summarise them :(

I also found Notebook to completely make stuff up. Like I gave it 4 documents and asked which info appears on all 4 and it just made it up completely. I told it the answer was wrong, and it said 'sorry I made a mistake, here's the actual answer...', and that was also wrong. Quite worrying as if it was a lot of data I wouldn't have been able to fact check it! SO maybe also do some spot checks on the answers it gives.

interestingly I pasted just relevant excerpts of several user interview transcripts into Notebook LM and asked for the common user needs. I then asked Dovetail AI search the same question based on a filter for the project containing the full interviews. The answers were virtually identical, almost word for word, so maybe Dovetail uses the same Google powered AI. It was reassuring.
